Born and raised in Boston (Go Celtics!). I bring a bit of East Coast energy to everything I do. I strive to be warm, confident, and dedicated in both my personal and professional relationships.
When I'm not working, you'll likely find me on the basketball court, tennis court, or exploring hiking trails. I also enjoy rowing when I can get out on the water!
Language and communication are important to me. I taught myself Spanish from scratch while working as a teacher in Houston and eventually worked my way to becoming bilingual (after a lot of practice.) I recently launched a project that I hope will be an accessible and powerful resource to help ESL students improve their conversational English.
I'm passionate about giving back, which is why I volunteer as a mentor for first-generation college students.
A career milestone you won't find on my resume: As high schooler I worked as a bouncer at the bar featured in the show 'Cheers.' You read that right! I was a bouncer before I could legally drink!
